Poucho Insulin Travel Wallet is for insulin bottles or pens currently in use. Unopened bottles or pens should be kept in a refrigerator until ready for use. This Poucho Wallet can help keep the insulin in current use at controlled room temperature (59-86 degrees F) as water in the Thermo-Cool fabric evaporates. Do not place your Poucho Wallet into a zip-lock style plastic bag during normal use as this will prevent water evaporation and interfere with the cooling process of the Poucho Wallet. Soak blue inner pouch in water for 1-2 minutes or hold and turn vigorously under running tap water for 30-40 seconds. Squeeze out excess water or pat dry with towel. Insert items to be cooled. Place inner pouch into the outer Poucho evaporation Wallet. Repeat every 3 to 5 days to reactivate.
